Forgotten Willow Teas and Gifts

Service Description

In this hands-on blend of science and art, participants will carefully dissect real owl pellets to reveal delicate bones and tiny natural relics while learning about owls, their prey, and the intricate web of life they inhabit. Once the mysteries are unveiled, these miniature treasures will be transformed into a one-of-a-kind glass shadow box. Nestle your discoveries among velvety moss, dried flowers, crystals, and botanical accents to create your own enchanted forest keepsake—a tiny cabinet of curiosities inspired by the natural world. Young naturalists are welcome! Participants ages 14 and up may attend independently, while those ages 13 and younger are invited to explore alongside an adult who is also enrolled in the workshop. This small-group workshop is limited to twelve participants to allow for a more personal, hands-on experience. Participation is $75 per person. Reserve your place and prepare to uncover nature’s tiniest treasures. Workshop includes: - Real owl pellet and dissection tools - Bone identification and owl ecology exploration - Glass shadow box - Preserved moss, dried florals, and botanicals - Crystals and other natural decorative elements - Guidance in arranging and preserving your woodland treasure If weather or other unforeseen circumstances prevent the workshop from taking place, or if you are unable to attend as planned, you will receive a thoughtfully curated kit containing all workshop materials and treasures—a $75 value—to enjoy at home. The workshop takes place on July 11th, from 10:00 AM to noon! Refreshments will be provided, but feel free to bring a water bottle or snacks if you have dietary restrictions. This workshop will take place outdoors. Please dress for the weather, wear sun protection, and bring any additional items needed for your comfort. Please note that restroom facilities are not available for public use at the workshop location. Participants are encouraged to plan accordingly before arriving. A gas station with public restrooms is conveniently located just down the street, should the need arise. We are so excited to experience this event with you!
